about the artist
PORTLAND, ME— Max Gonzalez was born in Queens and then abandoned ship to attend school in a Jersey suburb. His debut works premiered in the early 2000s gallery showing titled Mom's Fridge, a highly exclusive installation that was closed to the public. To this day he is still active, making a very slight medium pivot from crayon drawings to video game design & creation. He attributes his art inspiration to "the love of real human connection and community," in an interview conducted through his closed and locked front door. His favor can easily be won with free food and permission to play simulation games for 16 hours uninterrupted.

He can be contacted at mwgnzo@gmail.com as well as @FIVEGAZE across platforms.
He is also one half of Out to Dinner Games, whose itch.io you can find here.
